Grooming

We offer professional grooming for all breeds of dogs and cats. Pets visiting us for a groom get the full deluxe treatment. First they receive a thorough brush out to remove all the dead undercoat. The groomer then does a rough trim and shapping for the coat - or if required this is the stage that they would be shaved down. This is followed by a pedicure (nail trim) and a ear cleaning. Then it is bath time! The massage that goes along with the shampooing feels wonderful. If needed the pets will have their anal glands externally expressed while they are in the tub. Next the coat gets dried. The groomer then finishes the style and completes the finishing touches.

Some of our patients opt for the weekly brush out and have short visits to keep their style beautiful. We also offer flea bath or special medicated baths. If your pet has special grooming needs, just let us know so we may accommodate them.

Grooming can have many additional health benefits to your pet beside the usual ‘beauty parlor’ look and smell!

A matted pet can quickly become a target for flies in the summer months. Remember also that an ‘unkept’ animal may be a sign that the animal is not well and should be examined by one of our veterinarians.
